Business Plan Challenge Awards 2007 

The Business Plan Challenge Awards took place on the 14th November 2007 at the Arts Institute at Bournemouth. This years Business Plan Challenge was extremely successful with all of the entrees competing at a very high standard. The evening included talks on Entrepreneurship from Rachel Lowe and Tim Campbell.

Rachel Lowe – owner of RTL Games, previous winner of Portsmouth University Business Plan Challenge. Although only three-years old, RTL Games was recently valued at 7.5 million Euros.  Tim Campbell was the winner of the 2005 BBC TV’s The Apprentice and founder of the Bright Ideas Trust. After working with Sir Alan Sugar for two years, Tim recently left the company to pursue his own ventures.  

The winners of the Business Plan Challenge are: 

Under 18’s Winner – United Fire

Runner up – Aloha and ZigZag 

Pre-Start - Two awards of merit to Pure Funk and Wittdo 

Start up Winner – White Lantern Film
