Mollie Regan Textiles Showing in Milan

Mollie Regan Textiles are delighted to announce that they have been invited to showcase their work at the first British Design Embassy event to be held overseas in Milan. 

To be held in conjunction with the Milan Furniture Fair, 22 -26 April 2009, the event is to be held in a specially designed gallery within the Villa Reale, a spectacular villa in the heart of Milan. 

Curated by Paul Smith and supported by furniture design company, Morosa, UKTI, The British Consulate, ICON magazine and Milan City Council, the event is a showcase to iconic British Design and will show the work of 18 handpicked designers from Britain. 

Mollie Regan Textiles will show 2 black crystal and metalwork panels for interiors and with upwards of 250,000 visitors expected through Milan Furniture Fair this year they are excited and positive about this opportunity to reach new markets.  

Specialising in decorative, luxury, embroidered  panels for interiors, the business is currently working on the Dorchester Spa Hotel in London in association with Fox Linton Associates and has gone from strength to strength since winning ‘Creative Project of the Year’ at the Dorset Business Awards in 2007. 

The aim of the Design Embassy is to bring together British creativity under one roof and in a prestigious venue, where ideas and working relationships can be developed.  It is hoped that the installation of the event in the classic interior of the Villa Reale will make for an impressive and dramatic environment.
